Daffy-downdilly detail
Here's my little Daffy-down-Dilly flower fairy

I started this one for a local Daffodil Festival, which includes an art show .... but didn't deliver it by the deadline ...

blocks of colour
Daffy-downdilly sketch & finished piece
The idea came after seeing my teacher/friend Elisabeth's work in progress for the same show. I love drawing/painting flower fairies, it was fun bringing this one to canvas.

I'd forgotten (till a friend on FB reminded me) there's a poem about her!

Has come to town
With a yellow petticoat
And a pretty green gown

Your art is great, love it. Nice to meet you. By the way, the link you left on Paint Party Friday (PPF) take one to a post that isn't valid. I clicked on one of your older posts to get to your comment. Very nice work.

Oh this is fun. I love Daffodils. I hae heard of that festival. We are an hourish south of Eugene. Thanks so much for the info on Magnesium. I will check it out for sure. this all came on when I developed parathyroidism and was flooded with calcium and it was being taken out of my bones. The shoulders ARE tight and bother me a lot. I do take a lot of D3 k2. I have been going to a chiropractor who recommended massage, but have decided to see a bone doctor. Thanks for visiting my blog.
